Stearns And Foster Mattress Warranty

Understand the limitations of Stearns & Foster mattress warranties. Their limited warranty provides legal rights, but comprehensive protection may not always be available. Plus, customers don't get direct customer service from Stearns & Foster.

Warranties range from 5 to 10 years, depending on the Warranty Code on the law tag, and a deductible based on Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price may apply. You may also have to pay for transport and inspection.

This warranty only covers U.S.-bought Stearns & Foster mattresses, so coverage is more limited than other brands who cover more products. It excludes comfort preference complaints, pilling due to normal wear/use, physical abuse or damage caused by misuse/improper bed frames, indentations under 1 ½" quilted/tufted top mattresses unless you can prove misuse/abuse from external factors; structural damage resulting from improper bed frames and mildew after 30 days; and damages outside Sealy's control.

If you choose an upgrade that's more expensive than the original one replaced, you'll need to pay the difference plus any applicable deductibles; no new corresponding warranty will be given upon replacement.

When shopping for a mattress with a warranty included, weigh alternatives that offer long-term comfort and protection as well.
