If you insist on trying to remove the urine from your memory foam mattress (we don't recommend it), then follow these steps:

• Cut out the foam and replace it with the same-density. Call the manufacturer and ask them if they'd be willing to send you the same dimensions that you plan to cut out.
• If cutting out the foam doesn't work, use an enzyme cleaner (our full step-by-step is listed below).

Yes. This is because memory foam absorbs excessively. You can clean a tiny amount of water from the top surface, but anything else will probably not dry. The mattress may seem dry at first, but after a few months, you'll notice a strange smell and find out you've been inhaling mold for months.

Here's how you properly use an enzyme cleaner to remove urine from memory foam mattresses:

1. Turn your fan on and open your windows. Airflow is important.
2. Spray the enzyme cleaner across and inside the entire affected area. Literally, empty the entire bottle. Use 2x as much as you think you need.
3. If you want this solution to be effective, soak every urine-affected area of your foam.
4. Let your mattress air out for 12-24 hours, then soak any damp areas with an enzyme cleaner.

Note: If you don't have an enzyme cleaner, you can buy one from a local pet shop or on Amazon.

Even still, your mattress is likely completely "finished" and it's time to replace it!
