Does Pyrethrin Kill Bed Bugs

Pyrethrins have been used to eliminate bed bugs since the 1940s with highly effective results. Derived from plants in the Chrysanthemum family, pyrethrins disrupt the nervous system of insects, killing them almost immediately. When applied properly, pyrethrin-based products can kill most adult bed bugs and their nymphs on contact.
